Delivery Policy

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

Delivery charges vary based on the size, weight and availability of orders. These are calculated at the checkout by adding your shipping info and updating the basket.




Our aim is to dispatch all UK mainland orders between 2-4 working days (Mon-Fri, not inc. Bank Holidays) from your order confirmation unless stated differently within the product description. Orders placed after 2.30pm will be accepted onto our system the next working day.



If you would prefer your order to be delivered faster than our standard delivery time, please select the next working day delivery option at the shopping basket. The actual price depends on the weight of the order and is shown at the checkout. Please note Sunday doesn't count as a delivery day.

All UK mainland orders will then be dispatched on the same day, unless directly stated within the product description.

Please note, orders must be placed before 2.30pm (Monday-Friday only) to be dispatched the same day. Orders placed on a Saturday, Sunday, Bank Holiday or after 2.30pm will not be dispatched until the next available working day (Monday-Friday). If an item should go out of stock we will endeavour to inform you on the day of your order or by the next working day.


Large and heavy items

Large bulky items can take between 3-6 working days and the charges vary depending on the item. If your order contains a large or bulky item you will be notified of the charge and the shipping time frame when you add this item to your basket. Large, bulky items are typically products that weigh over 30kg. However, some items may be classed as large or bulky items even if they weigh less than 30kg due to the products dimensions. These will mostly be delivered by courier or pallet courier.



All quoted delivery prices are for most UK Mainland addresses*. The below addresses will incur additional charges and may also experience delivery delays:

  • Northern Ireland (BT)
  • Isle of Wight (PO30-37)
  • Isles of Scilly (TR21-25)
  • Isle of Man (IM)
  • Scottish Highlands and Orkney Isles (PA, ML, EH, KA, G, KY, PH, DD, AB, IV, KW)
  • The Outer Hebrides and the Shetland Isles (HS, ZE)
  • Channel Islands (JE, GY)

*Morning, Saturday and Next Working Day deliveries are optional and will also incur additional charges. Please call us on 0203 282 7891 to discuss prices.

Royal Mail have a universal charge for all of the UK, but the couriers have different charges for certain areas.  We can send small light parcels by Royal Mail and therefore charge the same rate as UK Mainland. If an order contains any kind of solvent based product, we have to send the parcel by courier. 

For heavier/larger parcels, or those containing items which Royal Mail will not take, we use a courier. All couriers impose charges around double the normal cost of shipping to the UK mainland for post code areas listed above.  For this reason we have to add a small cost towards this.



International orders are normally 3-5 working days (Mon-Fri, not inc. Bank Holidays).

Please note that some countries may charge import tax or duties on parcels arriving into their respective customs department. We are not liable for these charges nor are we able to assist with what these charges may be as each country sets their own rules and rates.



If you wish to cancel your order after it has been dispatched, you will be charged for both delivery and collection cost.



If you are unavailable when our delivery partner tries to deliver your order, they will usually try to deliver again the next working day or they will drop a card in to offer you a collection from a local collection point. If you fail to take delivery of the ordered goods and they are returned to us, we will contact you upon their arrival via email. A refund of the cost of goods without shipping will be processed within 7 days unless you have notified us before then to advise that the goods are still required. If the goods are still required, you will be charged an additional shipping fee for a second delivery.


Delivery Failure

If your order does not arrive or you cannot find it please let us know within 14 days of the date of order after which we will not be able to rectify.



We will only deliver goods to the address provided on your order. If another delivery address is provided after an order is received, we will make further checks to verify this address and once verified we will dispatch your order accordingly. An extra delivery charge may be required if our quoted delivery postcode areas are breached. We will contact you to discuss in more detail if this is the case.

Delivery will be made by our chosen delivery partner Royal Mail, Parcelforce, UPS or by an alternative of our choice.


Delivery Timeframes

It is our objective to achieve on time delivery on all orders. We use a number of third party courier service providers and on occasion human error may cause a package to be misdirected. Once despatched, the on time delivery of a package is the responsibility of the relevant courier company and MTS cannot be held responsible for a package not reaching its destination on time
